Next Gen Breakthrough is a 3 year program developed to foster the next generation of farm managers.

Managing a farm is a complex business. Therefore having the right skills is pivotal to the overall success of the business. If you're looking to gain the valuable skills and knowledge required to run a modern farming business, then the Next Gen Breakthrough program is for you.

Next Gen Breakthrough is a three year program designed to assist and support the development of the next generation of farm managers. Learn through interactive workshops focusing on financial, business and people management skills with practical tips, tricks and tools to gain confidence in decision making on the farm. As a participant in this program, you will learn from fellow producers and their mentors about how they have made a positive impact on their farm businesses and ensure they continue their families' legacy into the future.

This program is ideally suited to next-generation farm managers starting their business management journey, working through management succession and wanting to improve their management skills. You can participate with multiple members of your business, another ‘next-gen’ such as a sibling, colleague or partner.

• Two 2-day workshops per year for 3 years plus webinars between workshops

Grain Producers + Pinion Advisory emissions baselining project

Grain Producers SA (GPSA) is partnering with Pinion Advisory to deliver Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) Baselining across South Australia's cropping regions. We are seeking your involvement as a South Australian grain producer in this unique project that will contribute to the establishment of a South Australian grain production emissions baseline for the first time.

If you are a South Australian grain producer, we are offering you the opportunity to put your name forward to be involved in this important project and receive a personalised farm GHG emissions baseline valued at more than $4,000. The data that growers provide to GPSA, working with Pinion, through this project will be de-identified and used to form a South Australian grain production baseline. This baseline will feed into GPSA's Sustainability Roadmap.

Meat & Livestock Australia’s BredWell FedWell (BWFW) is a practical, one-day introductory workshop on how productivity and profitability can be improved through good breeding and feeding over the livestock production cycle, with a specific focus on profit drivers.

Pasture Principles

Pasture Principles, developed by Pinion Advisory, provides a group training environment for farmers to learn the guiding principles of pasture management, allowing them to work confidently regardless of the season or system. Pasture Principles is delivered as 7 sessions over a 12-month period, including one day of theory and six on-farm coaching sessions, allowing time to put theory into practice. Each coaching session is aligned with key seasonal changes and provides the opportunity to build knowledge and skills alongside a group of like-minded peers.
